I love my Fiskars paper slicer. It's:
  • Light and portable, and can be clipped into a binder.
  • Saves room on my desk, since it saves me from taking out a cutting mat, a ruler, and an X-Acto knife to perform the same task.
  • Has both Metric and Imperial measures.
  • The grid pattern assists with measurement and evening out crooked edges.

My Gaps:

  1. A way to prevent my dogs from carrying their food dishes around the house.
  2. A more effective system for carrying dog waste bags while on walks.
  3. A way to monitor responses to any comments I've made online.
  4. A way to determine if Plus Size clothing will fit my body shape well, considering that people carry their weight in varying areas of the body.
  5. A mechanism for more seamlessly transporting laundry to and from the car, and to the laundromat.
  6. A way for me, as an introvert, to meet more people.
  7. A solution for remembering to take medication.
  8. A practical, preservative way of storing mementos.
  9. An aesthetically appealing solution for messy incense ash. *CHOSEN*
  10. A way for me to remember what I have to do on a given day.

I plan to design a practical and aesthetically appealing solution for messy incense ash.

Many traditional incense holders cannot store much ash, and are difficult to transport to the trash can without spilling. The ash sits on a fairly flat surface, which doesn't protect the ash from wind.
